Biography
As part of his day-to-day work, Ford regularly assists clients through the real estate closing process, planning for the future through estate planning (Last Will and Testaments, Powers of Attorneys, Healthcare Directives, and Trusts), and navigating the difficulties of the loss of a loved one (Probate and Estate Administration). From drafting complex Trust agreements for high-net-worth individuals, to helping clients through the probate process for an estate, Ford's thorough and detailed approach is part of what sets him and J.V. Dell P.C. apart.
Ford earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2016), where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy. Ford has been published in the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy and has received Dean's List Honors and a Cali Award for highest marks in Contracts. During his time in Washington D.C., Ford was active in numerous Pro Bono opportunities, becoming an Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Honoree at Georgetown Law, the highest public service honor bestowed on its graduates. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Jones attended the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor's Degree in 2013.
Prior to joining Dell Law Firm PC, Ford held numerous positions at the highest levels of federal and state government. During his first year of law school, Ford worked in the Office of Legal Counsel for the Governor of Wisconsin and presidential candidate, Scott Walker. Ford also worked on complex policy, rulemaking, and procurement issues during his time with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration.
