Biography
An experienced attorney focusing on real estate and corporate transactions, Melanie Niblett takes pride when representing her clients.
Melanie graduated from Clayton College & State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2001 and followed up a year later with a certification in paralegal studies. In 2017, she earned a Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
As an active law student, Melanie demonstrated excellence both in and outside of the classroom. She proudly earned a Cali Award of Excellence for the highest grade in her Georgia Practice and Procedures class and served as a peer mentor and as a Lt. Governor of Mental Health and Wellness on the ABA Law Student Division Board. Following her passion for the mental health and wellbeing of others, Melanie taught yoga classes in recognition of Mental Health and Wellness Day for the students and staff.
Prior to joining Dell Law Firm PC, Melanie had the privilege of practicing in multiple areas of law; however, she maintained a continued focus on real estate transactions. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Never ignoring her need to help those around her, Melanie continues to reach out in her community. She participates in community activities including Leadership Lamar, volunteer opportunities for the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, Jackson-Butts County Rotary Club, former Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Towaliga Judicial Circuit, Rock Springs Church, and Rock Springs Christian Academy. She also volunteered for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation and the DeKalb Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, outdoor activities, yoga, and volunteering.
